Ballet des Amriques Audition for Company Members and Trainees (Professional Young Adult Program) September 7th, 201916 King Street, Port Chester, NY 105731-3pm Whether you are a professional dancer wishing to audition for our dance company or whether you are on the verge of launching your professional career and wish to hone, refine and complete your training its a trainee in our dance company, please join us on Saturday, September 7 at 1pm in our studios in Port Chester. We are located at 16 King Street next to the arrival platform from Manhattan on the New Haven Metro North Rail line originated from Grand Central Terminal.Ballet des Amriques is looking for classically and modern trained dancers ? men and women ? for its professional dance company. Candidates should also be comfortable with neoclassical, contemporary and modern techniques and works. Knowledge of African and Afro-Caribbean dance styles would be advantageous.Ballet des Amriques engages dancers who grasp and appreciate the pedagogical, aesthetic and ethical principles of its organization as whole and who are willing to commit to their realization in the dance company. Ballet des Amriques is looking for individuals with artistic sensitivity and a high level of commitment to the arts as a whole.All applicants must have the proper documentation to work in the US (i.e.: work permit, Green card, US Citizen, etc.).
