Andres Andrade - Andres Andrade

Since he began teaching voice in 1988 Andrés Andrade has students performing in various venues throughout the world in classical, jazz, musical theatre and contemporary genres. He is known for combining the foundations of a solid bel canto technique with a contemporary pedagogical approach suitable to most styles of vocal music. Andrade trained with some of the top teachers in the United States and holds a Master’s degree from New England Conservatory. Complete preparation, technical and musical, is the hallmark of his teaching. He has taught at LaGuardia Arts High School and Queens College, as well as several other music schools. He is the founder and director of Citywide Youth Opera, a training program for singers ages 14 to 21. Publications include the trade paperback, Absolute Beginners Voice, a beginner’s guide to vocal training currently being circulated in North and South America, Europe and Australia. Students of all levels accepted, both online and in his studio in midtown Manhattan.
