Alumni Services Coordinator - AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts

AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts, with campuses in New York City and Hollywood, is one of the foremost post-secondary performing arts colleges in the country. AMDA offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degree programs in Acting, Musical Theatre, Dance Theatre and Performing Arts as well as two year conservatory programs.The Alumni Services Coordinator will assist in supporting AMDA's alumni engagement programs. The environment at AMDA requires teamwork, a can-do attitude, perseverance, and the ability to think strategically and creatively.Primary Responsibilities:?Facilitate the administrative aspects of the Alumni Services department by performing clerical and administrative duties, responsible for operational details and assuring efficient office operation?Communicate and assist alumni, faculty, and administrators on alumni related matters?Gather information and prepare various reports, correspondence, and memorandums?Greet and screen visitors and phone calls, relay messages, respond or take necessary action or refer to appropriate person for resolution?Data entry/database management for an alumni records system?Manage departmental email, phone and personal communications in support of alumni events and activities?Provide support and coordinate logistics for alumni privileges (alumni ID cards, practice space, Library usage, etc.) and coordinate with other AMDA offices?Develop collaborative relationships with AMDA departments/units where needed in support of alumni engagement initiatives?Inform constituents about alumni benefits/services/processes as necessary Qualifications:?Bachelor?s degree in a related field required?Two to five (2 - 5) years prior experience working in higher education or performing arts administration with preference given to those with alumni relations experience or equivalent work experience in a related field?Experience and/or knowledge of performing arts disciplines?Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as high-level sophistication and maturity in social and professional settings?Prior experience working with entertainment professionals and VIP talent?Experience with panel moderation and conducting interviews?Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects?Flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with excellent follow through skills?Ability to work independently as well as within a team environment?Proficiency in Word, Excel, Outlook, E-Mail, and database use?High professional and ethical standards for handling confidential information?Occasional weekend availability requiredTo apply for the position, please visit: https://app.jobvite.com/j?aj=oLZaafwO&s=Broadway_World AMDA is proud to be an EOE employer M/F/D/V
