Rob Lake Magic is actively seeking submissions for ongoing, and contract-based performance opportunities for the current and upcoming performance and touring season. Contracts are presented on an ongoing basis and include competitive pay, travel (including air & ground transpiration, hotels, and meals), and domestic or international travel.

Per International Requirements: Successful touring candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 (or be qualified for a medical or religious exemption). Fully vaccinated is defined as 14 days after the second dose of a two dose vaccine or 14 days after the single dose of a one dose vaccine.

Dancers & Illusion Assistants
(Female)
Female Identifying Dancers & Illusion Assistants (5’1”-5’6”): Captivating, dynamic, and experienced technical dancers with proficiency in jazz & lyric with a slender silhouette, athletic performance flair, and youthful appearance. Performance track includes both production dance numbers and appearing in and assisting with illusions.

Illusion Assistants/Onstage Techs
(Male)
Male Identifying Illusion Assistants (5’9”-6’4”):
Confident, charismatic, and experienced male performers with athletic to muscular silhouettes to appear onstage and in show, in addition assisting with the setup and safe real time execution of illusions. Performance track includes working alongside production with technical responsibilities required to seamlessly set and strike illusions.

Stage Crew & Techs
Audio & Video Operation
Experienced, proficient tech to install and operate FOH audio and video playback, including microphone, comm systems.
Must have ability to multitask, adapt quickly to changes across multiple venue systems.
Operates show playback on multiple computers, live microphones, and video switching (integrated with playback).
Often assists with backstage techs in illusions requiring direct line of sight communication.

Lighting Programmer
Experienced & trained programmer (Grand MA console). Fast programming ability is required. Attention to detail is required.
Due to the nature of touring, cues must constantly be updated based on venue changes.
Advance work with technical director including updating plot for upcoming engagements.
To assist (or direct) lighting install/load-in, programming, and focus/updates for venues.
