Artistic Assistant Position

Reporting to Virginia Repertory Theatre's Artistic Directors, the Artistic Assistant supports Virginia Rep artistic and educational programs through logistical management. The Artistic Assistant will primarily work in the areas of scheduling, logistics, auditions/casting, and research, among other duties.

This is a full-time, non-exempt position and is eligible for all Virginia Rep standard benefits as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Starting salary is $38,000 annually. Some evening and weekend work will be required.

Apprenticeships are seasonal appointments, with the possibility of renewal for a second season, and are designed to create access to entry level jobs to assist young practitioners in building skill and experience as they start their careers.
