Two Just Kidding Concerts To Engage All Ages With Billingual Song And Dance At Symphony Space

Two Just Kidding performances at Symphony Space offer happy dance beats, interactivity and bilingual sing-along fun for families with kids ages 2 and up:

February 16 at 11 am: 123 Andrés - This Latin GRAMMY winning duo Andrés and Christina (plus special musical guests) will bring beats and rhythms from all over Latin America to get kids to jump, dance and sing along, en español y en inglés.Their blend of dance moves, humor, and singable tunes engages kids and adults alike. As native Spanish speakers, Andrés and Christina incorporate language seamlessly into this bilingual show, which will include high-energy hits like "Salta Salta" and softer melodies from their latest award-winning album La Luna. Billboard magazine called 123 Andrés "A rockstar for little language learners," and Andrés has become one of the most exciting new voices on the family music scene around the western hemisphere. March 2 at 11 am: Boogaloo Familia - A wild and upbeat bilingual musical journey through the history, musical style and worldwide cultural impact of Latin Boogaloo, the 1960s music and dance craze from the streets of Spanish Harlem. The audience will be able to shake and boogie along to the infectious bilingual rhythms of "Boogaloo Shoes," "Esta Tierra (This Land Is Your Land)," "Bugalú pa' mi abuela," and other happy tunes. Boogaloo Familia features members of the Spanglish Fly, the NYC based band recommended by National Public Radio's Alt.Latino.
