Regina Zona brings her critically acclaimed show, Becoming...the Queen 2.0: When One Coronation in a Lifetime is Not Enough to the Laurie Beechman for TWO ENCORE performances on February 15 and 27. This is an epic show that showcases every style from opera to Broadway to jazz and takes the audience on a journey right through Regina's life as an opera Diva (specifically the iconic Queen of the Night), her secret desire to be a Fosse dancer, her fulfilling career as a voice teacher and how she is growing older gracefully and fabulously! Regina Zona's performance abilities have earned her great success and international acclaim throughout her very diverse career.
As a classical singer, Regina has performed on opera and concert stages all over the world in a variety of repertoire and has recorded her debut CD for the Naxos American Classics Label in worldwide distribution. In 2018, she wrote and performed her first one-woman show to critical acclaim. And in 2019 she began a new chapter, entering the world of cabaret.
Regina's phenomenal Music Director is Jonathan K. Parks and the show is directed by the incomparable Lina Koutrakos. She is joined by Sean Murphy on bass and Mike Lunoe on drums.
