Andrew Kober Debuts at Feinstein's, 12/12

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine, and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, continues its Fall 2010 season with the debut of Broadway star ANDREW KOBER on Sunday, December 12. His new show "The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year" will include seasonal favorites like "Sleigh Ride" and "The Christmas Song," as well as newer songs by Jamie Cullum and Rockapella. He will be joined by a jazz quartet led by Music Director Jason Sherbundy and Megan Lawrence, the Tony Award nominated actress and singer, as special guest vocalist. The show taks place at 8:30 PM at the Loews Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street).

ANDREW KOBER is best known for being a part of the tribe and playing the roles of Margaret Mead and Claude's Father in the 2009 Tony Award winning revival of Hair. The musical opened in March of 2009 to rave reviews. Critics called Andrew "priceless" (USA Today) and "hilarious" (AP). During his year of performing with Hair on Broadway, Andrew appeared with the cast on the Tony Awards, "The View," "Good Morning America," "The Early Show," "The Late Show with David Letterman," and two Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parades.

After moving to New York at 22, he booked a job in the First National Tour of William Finn and Rachel Sheinkin's musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, understudying the roles of Vice Principal Douglas Panch, Comfort Counselor Mitch Mahoney, and William Barfee. In 2007, he was a part of the sit-down run of the show in Los Angeles, understudying Tony Award Winner Dan Fogler. Having appeared in many benefits and concerts in venues all over New York City, Andrew debuted his solo show, "Koberet," to a sold-out crowd at Joe's Pub last February. In April, he made his West End debut in the London production of Hair.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY will present ANDREW KOBER for one night only on Sunday, December 12 at 8:30 PM. Performances have a $30.00 cover with $50.00 premium seats available, in addition to a $25.00 food and beverage minimum. Jackets are suggested but not required.
