On last night's DANCING WITH THE STAR, Broadway vet Valerie Harper and her pro dance partner Tristan McManus danced the Viennese Waltz to fun.'s 'Carry On,' a song which carries the message Harper has been so eloquently conveying throughout the competition.

"I feel that I did not do the dance as well as I've done it and that's not a good feeling," Harper said of last week's performance during the package, but quickly added, "As far as I'm concerned, I'm competing against myself. I am not at all ready to quit. I'm here for the party and as long as I can participate, I'm willing to keep on keeping on."

Following the dance, this week's guest judge, champion of Seasons 4 and 5 Julianne Hough commented, "I thought what you started out with was gorgeous. The lines were elegant and stunning."

Added Bruno, "Valerie, this week you painted a very pretty picture. You hit the poses beautifully," but advised, "If you go wrong darling, cover it up. Don't show the mistakes - act over it."

"I love watching you but I do agree there were some beautiful moments but that made the mistakes stand out more," offered Carrie Ann.

The couple earned an 18 out of 30, which was not enough to keep them in the competition. Watch their performance from last night's show below!

"Dancing with the Stars" is back with an all-new cast and fresh show format. The competition will shake things up this season by transitioning to a one night, two-hour format. The premiere episode will kick off with a spectacular opening number featuring the entire cast. Each couple will then perform a Cha Cha, Foxtrot or Contemporary routine, vying for America's vote for the first time. Beginning with the second episode on Monday, September 23, one couple will be eliminated at the end of the show by combining the judges' scores from the first two weeks with the public votes from the previous week.

Hosted by Emmy Award-winning host Tom Bergeron ("America's Funniest Home Videos") and Brooke Burke-Charvet ("Dancing with the Stars" Season 7 Champion), "Dancing with the Stars" is the hit series in which celebrities perform choreographed dance routines which are judged by renowned ballroom judge Len Goodman and dancer/choreographers Bruno Tonioli and Carrie Ann Inaba.
