On last night's The Daily Show on Comedy Central, host Jon Stewart pondered the possibilites after learning that any male catholic is eligible to take over the reins of retiring Pope Benedict XVI. The late night host suggested FOX talk show host Bill O'Reilly for the position, yet wondered, "Would he accept the demotion?" Catch the hilarious clip from last night's show below!

"The Daily Show" first earned its political stripes during the now-infamous 2000 election, receiving an Emmy(R) Award and a prestigious George Foster Peabody(R) Award for its year-long "Indecision 2000" coverage of the race for the White House, achievements repeated during the series' "Indecision 2004" election reporting.

"The Daily Show" airs Monday-Thursday at 11:00 p.m. and repeats at 1:00 a.m. the same night and at 9:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. The Following day (all times ET/PT).
