MTV2 is handing over the keys of the THE DUB MAGAZINE PROJECT to rappers, recording artists and newly named hosts Tyga and MGK as they split duties during the upcoming second season that debuts on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 1:00 ET/PT on MTV2. The premiere of “The Dub Magazine Project” will immediately follow the premiere of MTV2’s new hip hop series “The Week in Jams” at 11:00 ET/PT that will feature the latest in the hip hop lifestyle, from music to fashion, gear to sports and, of course, real talk. Get a sneak peek below!

The first episode of “The Dub Magazine Project” will give viewers a unique and rarely seem glimpse into the lives and deepest obsessions of rapper Mac Miller, comedian, actor and rapper Mike Epps, musician, producer and entrepreneur Travis Barker, professional drifter Vaughn Gittin, and hip hop artist Meek Mill. Whether it’s their cars, homes, apparel or performances, the show will bring to life the same mixture of non-traditional celebrity access and customized rides that fill DUB Magazine’s pages.

Future episodes of “The Dub Magazine Project” will feature guest appearances from comedians, athletes and super-stars such as Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver and Pro Bowler DeSean Jackson, 2 Chainz, T-Pain, Big Boi, 17-time X Games medalist Travis Pastrana, “Jersey Shore” stars Ronnie Ortiz-Magro and Paul “Pauly D” DelVecchio, Olympian Cullen Jones, B.O.B., Afrojack, Macklemore, Kreayshawn and Gucci Mane, among others.

“The Dub Magazine Project” and “The Week in Jams” sets up a Sunday destination for fans to indulge with some of the biggest names in music, sports, TV and Film, as well as discover new artists, hear the loudest opinions, keep up with new trends from all over the country and sit in on hard-hitting interviews. In addition to Tyga and MGK hosting “The Dub Magazine Project,” “The Week in Jams” brings together a hip hop dream team of contributors including: mixtape legend, radio personality and television host DJ Envy, industry insider, radio personality and cast member of “MTV2’s Guy Code” Charlamagne Tha God, recording artist and songwriter Sofi Green, West Coast mover and shaker Levi Maestro, and west coast radio personality and nationally syndicated nighttime radio host Nessa. They will join MTV’s hip hop expert, Sway Calloway, a vanguard radio personality, record producer, hip-hop artist and MTV News Correspondent.
