On last night's LAST WEEK TONIGHT on HBO, John Oliver shared his belief that Republicans in Congress are in no rush to remove President Trump from office, despite the events of last week. "We've vomited so much there's nothing left to throw up, and there's just no way to get off, because an unstable, race-baiting carnie is operating the controls," explains the host.

Then, nuclear waste poses a serious threat to public health if it's not stored in a safe place. John Oliver explains why the United States desperately needs to build a metaphorical toilet for all that waste. Watch the videos below!

Presenting a satirical look at the week in news, politics and current events, as well as addressing broader issues, the Emmy®-winning LAST WEEK TONIGHT WITH JOHN OLIVER continues its current season last night. Taped in New York a few hours before it debuts on HBO, the show features a mix of Oliver's topical commentary, pre-taped pieces and occasional guests.
