Netflix has just released the trailer for the upcoming documentary Power, which looks at the history of the police force in the United States. The film is directed by Yance Ford, who previously was nominated for an Academy Award for his documentary Strong Island, which chronicled the murder of his brother. Ford co-wrote Power with Ian Olds. Power will be released in theaters on May 10, 2024, before its Netflix debut on May 17, 2024. Watch the trailer here.

Despicable Me 4 has just dropped a new promo spot featuring basketball player Nikola Jokic. In a new report from Deadline, Stephan Elliott, director of Priscilla, Queen Of The Desert, has confirmed that a sequel to the 1994 film is underway with actors Terence Stamp, Guy Pearce And Hugo Weaving reprising their roles. “The original cast is on board, I’ve got a script that everybody likes, we’re still working out deals. … It’s happening,” Elliott said.

Molly Shannon is hitting the small screen in a new comedy series. Deadline reports that the Saturday Night Live alum will be starring and executive producing a series for HBO that is written and executive produced by longtime collaborator Steve Koren.

For the first time ever, the complete Vince Guaraldi soundtrack to It Was a Short Summer, Charlie Brown will be released in celebration of its 55th anniversary. The album includes the original recordings that comprise the song cues of the Special, plus another six bonus or alternative tracks that have never been released or heard before.

A24’s The Iron Claw, written and directed by Sean Durkin, will make its streaming debut on Max on Friday, May 10. The film will be available on HBO and will make its linear debut on Saturday, May 18 (8 p.m. ET). The film stars Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson, Stanley Simons, Maura Tierney, with Holt McCallany and Lily James.

Hey, you guys! Hannah Waddingham has been brought in to market the The Fall Guy in a series of new promos. In the Ryan Gosling-led comedy, Waddingham plays a producer of the film in which Gosling works as a stuntman. In the meta promos, Waddingham, Gosling, and co-star Emily Blunt try their hand at marketing campaigns to help sell the movie. They attempt to utilize social media platforms and even recruit some athletes from the sports world. Watch the videos here!

Little Feat have just dropped the second track from this upcoming album Sam's Place, which is due out on May 17.“Can’t Be Satisfied,” a rollicking cover of the classic Muddy Waters-written song, is the second offering from the jumping SAM’S PLACE (Hot Tomato Productions/MRI). Paramount has just released a new promo from the forthcoming series Knuckles, a spin-off of the fan-favorite character from the world of Sonic the Hedgehog. Knuckles is a new live-action event series following Knuckles (Idris Elba) on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self- discovery as he agrees to train Wade Whipple (Adam Pally) as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior. A new featurette has been released for the horror film Abigail. In the behind-the-scenes look, In the Heights star Melissa Barrera talks about her character, who is a medic in the film. Abigail follows a group of would-be criminals who kidnap the 12-year-old ballerina daughter of a powerful underworld figure. But the captors soon discover, to their mounting horror, that they’re locked inside with no normal little girl. Watch the video here!

Netflix has officially begun production of The Witcher Season 4 and shared a sneak peak of the cast together from the recent table read. Netflix has also greenlit Season 5 of The Witcher, which will film back-to-back with Season 4, and will be the final chapter in Geralt’s story. Comedian and actress Nikki Glaser is back in her second hour-long HBO special Nikki Glaser: Someday You'll Die, debuting Saturday, May 11 on HBO and Max.
