Scoop: THE CHEW - Week of January 28

ABC's "The Chew" is gearing up for game day with tailgating tips and recipes to help you get you ready for the big game. Throughout the week, "The Chew" will also celebrate classic American dishes with the series "American Originals." Chef Jamika Pessoa, Chef Jason Roberts and Evette Rios fanned out across the country to visit the birthplaces of such classic dishes as Eggs Benedict, the Hamburger, the French Dip Sandwich and Buffalo Wings, airing JANUARY 28 - FEBRUARY 1 (weekdays; 1:00 p.m. ET; broadcast in stereo.)

On Monday, January 28, "The Chewperbowl" kicks off on with Super Bowl-inspired desserts. Each day throughout the week, the site will share recipes, tips, beer cocktails as well as behind-the-scenes videos from the co-hosts, making your game day food destination.

For the week of January 28 - Feb. 1(subject to change):

MONDAY, JANUARY 28 - It's all about breakfast as "The Chew" celebrates the most important meal of the day; Evette Rios visits NYC's Delmonico's, the original home of the classic Eggs Benedict.

TUESDAY, JANUARY 29 - Favorite diner dishes; Chef Jason Roberts visits Louis' Lunch, the original home of the classic Hamburger.

WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 30 - Decadent dishes that won't cost a fortune; chocolatier Jacques Torres; Chef Jamika Pessoa visits Philippe The Original, the home of the French Dip Sandwich.

THURSDAY, JANUARY 31 - "The Chew" gears up for game day with some of their favorite pre-game recipes; Mario Batali visits NYC's Joe Doe restaurant.

FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 1 - The co-hosts take part in National Wear Red Day to help raise awareness for the American Heart Association's "Go Red for Women" movement; Chef Mario Batali and Chef Michael Symon square off in a chili competition; Chef Jamika Pessoa visits Anchor Bar Restaurant in Buffalo, NY, the original home of Buffalo Chicken Wings.
