When Shannon Ambrosio became a chef, he traveled the South to learn everything he could about traditional Southern barbecue. Now that he's conquered the barbecue scene in New York, he and his boys are hitting the road to see if he can measure up against the best pitmasters in the South.

Brooklyn pitmaster Shannon Ambrosio heads to the bustling city of Tulsa. to challenge chef Adam Myers of Burn Co. to an old-fashioned barbecue battle! Since Tulsa is known for their "Oklahoma Tenderloin"-or smoked bologna, a staple in every kids school lunch-- this is going to be a schoolyard lunch bag brawl! Shannon's going to have to get some inspiration from the local flavors if he wants Burn Co. to be feeling the burn.

Brooklyn pitmaster, Shannon Ambrosio is heading to Phoenix to challenge local favorites Pork on a Fork BBQ to a serious smoking sausage showdown! If Shannon wants to smoke the competition in this battle, he'll have to find some inspiration from the local flavors.

Brooklyn pitmaster Shannon Ambrosio is heading to Memphis to challenge local barbecue favorite, Jessie B's, to a southern-style barbecue showdown! Since Jessie and Shannon both have boxing backgrounds, this brawl is going to be all about a boxing staple, steak and eggs. Shannon may be the barbecue king up north, but he's going to need to find some inspiration from the local flavors to reign triumphant.

Carnival Eats
  • Premiering Thursday, May 4th at 9pmET/6pmPT - "Get Him to the Greek Pizza"
Noah Cappe's first stop is The Big Butler Fair in Butler, Penn., where he dines on a Euro-fusion Greek Pizza, a Crabby Patty burger and a Deep Fried Chili Dog, before finally tasting a Fluffernutter Elephant Ear pasty. Then, at the Mississippi State Fair in Jackson, Mississippi, he tucks into a Beer-Battered Burger, Porkchos and a Mississippi Mud Fry.
  • Premiering Thursday, May 11th at 9pmET/6pmPT - "The Rainbow Confection"
Noah Cappe lands at the LA County Fair in Pomona, Calif. for some sunny west coast eats, like the Jackfruit Torta, PB Meatballs, and cherry candy-coated Cherry Punch Hot Wings. Finally, Noah takes a tasty stroll through the rainbow Ice Cream Garden, a treat as beautiful as it is tasty. Later, Noah heads to the Markham Fair in Ontario for the colorful and delicious Pulled Pork Rainbow Melt. He also tastes a Frosted Fried Turkey Leg, coated in sugary cereal, and for dessert, the Crispy Cruncher.
  • Premiering Thursday, May 18th at 9pmET/6pmPT - "Piefidelity"
Noah Cappe knows Dela-where to find amazing fresh seafood, the Delaware State Fair in Harrington! He starts with the Shrimp Dog, then feels some soul with the Crabtastic Po' Boy. He also samples a local Delaware classic with the Apple Scrapple Burger before feeding his sweet tooth with a beer-battered Deep Fried Key Lime Pie. From there, Noah heads to the Arizona State Fair in Phoenix for the Chili Pie Burger, a Deep Fried Tamale, and a massive desert dessert: the Cinnamonster.
  • Premiering Thursday, May 25rd at 9pmET/6pmPT - "The Good, The Bacon, The Ugly"
Noah Cappe heads for the Lone Star state to eat his way through the Texas State Fair in Dallas, featuring some inventive foods like the Bacon-tilla and the indulgent masterpiece of Chicken Fried Lobster. For dessert, Noah feeds his sweet tooth with a pair of earthy treats, the Carrot Cake Roly and the creamy Deep Fried Sweet Potato Pie. Later, Noah heads to the Oakland County Fair in Davisburg, Mich. to eat the Cheeseburger Crunch Wrap, the Rodeo Pizza, and The Whole Farm, a sandwich loaded with farm-fresh favorites.

Farmers' Market Flip
  • Premiering Thursday, May 4th at 10pmET/7pmPT - "Takedown in Torrance"
Host Jeff Mahin is in Torrance, California, where chefs Cory Rapp and Patrick Ruiz square off against chefs Khristianne Uy and Charleene Caabay for the $5,000 prize. In the Flavor of the Market challenge, the teams transform beef or spinach and kale empanadas, creating an entirely new dish that appeals to empanada baker Paulina Campos Guzman. Then, they Feed the Market with original dishes using either fresh or roasted corn.
  • Premiering Thursday, May 11th at 10pmET/7pmPT - "Carnivore vs. Vegan Face-Off"
Host Jeff Mahin is at the bustling Irvine Farmers' Market, the largest farmers' market in Orange County, California. Chefs Jose Vazquez and Shruti Patel face-off against vegan chefs Nicole Derseweh and Janett Flores for a chance to win $5,000. In the Flavor of the Market challenge, the teams strive to make colorful cauliflower appetizing to the discriminating taste buds of a pint-sized critic and her mother. Then, in THE FEED the Market challenge, the chefs appeal to the masses with original dishes using the secret ingredient: Kettle Corn.
  • Premiering Thursday, May 18th at 10pmET/7pmPT - "Class of the Seafood Titans: Channel Islands Edition"
Host Jeff Mahin is in the seaside community of Channel Islands, California, as chefs Hugo Miranda and Ben Diaz take on Penny Davidi and Michele Ragussis for the $5,000 prize. For the Flavor of the Market challenge, teams must transform a Strawberry Festival favorite, strawberry shortcake or strawberry funnel cake, creating an entirely new dish that will surprise and delight third-generation strawberry farmer Jason Tamai. In Feed the Market, the chefs must create original dishes highlighting seafood they buy right off the dock.
  • Premiering Thursday, May 25th at 10pmET/7pmPT- "Redondo's Surf 'N' Earth"
With the sun shining and waves crashing, the Redondo Beach Farmers' Market does not disappoint. Host Jeff Mahin is joined by high-strung chefs Mick Brown and Jennifer Gold as they compete against level-headed professionals Jason Fullilove and Aron Habiger for a chance to win $5,000. These two teams must flip a seemingly undesirable "catch" into mouthwatering masterpieces during the Flavor of the Market challenge. Then it's time to Feed the Market by creating Surf 'n' Earth inspired meals.
