The Palace Theatre welcomes Divas through the Decades, part of the Citizens Bank Performing Arts Series, an original musical production created by Artistic Director Carl Rajotte, opens Valentine's Day today, February 14th at 7:30 PM and runs through Saturday March 1st at 2:00 PM.

Divas is a musical tribute to some of the most influential female vocalists in American pop music, from Gloria Estefan, Tina Turner, Madonna, and many more. This musical performance features professional singers and dancers from New York City. Audiences will enjoy the stunning costumes, lights, show stopping vocals, and amazing visual effects.

Divas Through the Decades, directed by Carl Rajotte, is one of his original shows, paying tribute the decades of strong talented female performers who have been the soundtrack to our lives over the last half century. The show returns several well know performers to the Palace Theatre stage, including Angela Birchett singing Aretha Franklin, Etta James, Whitney Houston among others. Michelle Rajotte will perform the music of several artists including Diana Ross, Adele, Christina Aguilara and Celine Dion. Michelle was most recently seen in The Palace Theatre's house production of A Christmas Carol as Mrs. Cratchit and as the female lead singer in last season's original show British Invasion.

The very talented Manchester native, Missy Clayton is thrilled to be returning for Divas here at the Palace! Missy started her career as a member of the Palace youth theatre program and went on to graduate from the American Music and Dramatic Academy in NYC where she studied musical theatre and dance. Previous credits: Legally Blonde (Brooke Wyndham), Chicago (Liz), 42nd St. (Lorraine), ACL (Kristine).

"This show is perfect for a ladies night out or a date night," said Chris Lockwood, Palace Theatre Director of Marketing. "It has all hits from Adele, Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Pat Benetar, Stevie Knicks even Beyonce and Lady Gaga. Basically if you have ever been to a wedding you will know every one of the songs."
