MOVIES, MUSICALS, AND ME Premieres In Houston At Ovations Nightclub

IN ITS SOUTHWEST PREMIERE, don't miss Al Fallick & Clark Baxtresser in " Movies, Musicals, and Me: An Evening With Me, Halpert Evans " on February 7, 8, and 9. Set in a world where all musicals are movie adaptations, Movies, Musicals, and Me is a career retrospective cabaret of Broadway star-- nay, legend -- Halpert Evans (played by Al Fallick ). He and his loyal accompanist, Courtney ( Clark Baxtresser ), perform for you songs from such fictional Broadway smashes as FORREST GUMP: THE MUSICAL, THE TERMINATOR: THE MUSICAL, THE SOCIAL NETWORK: THE MUSICAL, and more. Special Guests include Annie Wild (Ensemble's Da Kink In My Hair ), Graham Baker (CFRT's Peter & The Starcatchers ), Aline Mayagoitia (PCLO's Evita) , and more. Movie nerds and musical theatre junkies alike will find much to laugh about in this brilliant musical satire.

Originally produced in Chicago by YouTube's STARKID Productions, Movies, Musicals, and Me was also adapted into a successful musical webseries in 2017. Since then, they've played The Lyric Hyperion in Los Angeles, and The Duplex & Feinstein's/54 Below in NYC. Beginning in January 2019, Movies, Musicals, and Me will have a monthly residence at the world-renowned Upright Citizens Brigade Comedy Theater (UCB.)

Al Fallick plays " Movies, Musicals, and Me: An Evening with Me, Halpert Evans " at Ovations Night Club ( 2536 Times Blvd. Ste B) on February 7 at 7:00 pm, and February 8 and 9 at 8:00pm. MORE ABOUT THE TEAM
Al Fallick is native of Houston, Texas . While attending Stratford High School , he was awarded two Tommy Tune Awards . A graduate of The University Of Michigan's musical theater program. He recently completed the comedy training at Los Angeles' Groundlings Theater. His show, MOVIES, MUSICALS, AND ME has been presented in New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and on YouTube in 2017. Other recent shows include SPIES ARE FOREVER (available on YouTube) and last year's WHERE HAS TOMMY FLOWERS GONE? in New York.

Clark Baxtresser and Pierce Siebers are members of the pop duo TALKFINE, and have been featured on publications such as Huffington Post, Slate, and Nerdist. They have been scored or music directed many of STARKID's most popular parody musicals (FIREBRINGER; ANI: A MUSICAL PARODY). They also wrote the score for SPIES ARE FOREVER, during which they met Al Fallick.
