ComedySportz Houston to Kick Off March Madnezz Improv Comedy Tournament, 3/7

Each year in March the sports world turns its attention to the 68 college basketball teams vying for a national title in the NCAA Division of Men's Basketball Championship. ComedySportz gets into the game with their annual March Madnezz improv comedy tournament. The tournament divides the ComedySportz ensemble into eight teams that compete in a month long elimination competition. The winners are crowned the 2014 Houston Heroes with bragging rights all year long.

"It will be another year of tough competition." says 2013 March Madnezz Commissioner Dianah Dulany. "Last year, fan favorites Ray Lewis Alibi took on the B Team for a rousing victory. We'll see if they can hold on to the championship title this year."

Delighting Houston audiences for over 23 years, ComedySportz is the Space City's longest running improv comedy show. ComedySportz features two teams of comedians battling for laughs and points in scenes, games, and songs ensuring no two matches will ever be the same. The comedy is fast, the audience interaction is high, and the laughs are plenty in a show that delivering quality, family-friendly entertainment for young and old!

March Madnezz at ComedySportz begins on Friday, March 7, 2014 and runs every Friday and Saturday thru March 22, 2014. The final Championship match will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014. Tip offs for these shows is 8:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays at the ComedySportz Arena, 901 Town & Country Blvd. (at I-10 West and the Sam Houston Tollway). Adult Admission is $18.00.
