The holiday season is officially underway at Joe's Pub. Kicking off the slew of extra-festive shows is Ike for the Holidays, Ikechukwu Ufomadu's delightful late night talk show. After that are all your classics - The Skivvies, Tori Scott, Justin Vivian Bond, Murray Hill and more!
Amidst the holiday fun, the extraordinary Mireya Ramos, leader of the badass, all-female group Mariachi Flor de Toloache, will perform the music of Argentine legend Mercedes Sosa with many special guests.

Joe McGinty and The Loser's Lounge play a very special tribute to legendary songwriter Burt Bacharach. The Losers are a NYC-based band that started out playing small clubs on the Lower East Side in 1993. Now in their 23rd year, the band performs every other month at Joe's Pub, plus shows at Lincoln Center, selling out regularly. Known for their incredible interpretations of classics, the Losers have grown into a unique performance experience that combines music, comedy and cabaret. They return with the irreverent antics and special guests that you can only find on their stage.

The holiday season comes but once a year, which makes the decision of how to mark the occasion a special one. Comic entertainer Ikechukwu Ufomadu invites you to consider Ike for the Holidays - an evening of humor, warmth and musical joy, featuring special guests from across the entertainment domain. Ufomadu is an actor and comic entertainer, who creates and hosts many live shows, including: Ike at Night (Under the Radar/The Public Theater, The Bushwick Starr), Ike Night (Ars Nova, SF Sketchfest, JACK), Ike for the Holidays (St. Mazie, Manhattan Inn), and performs stand-up. As an actor, he's worked with several OBIE-winning theater companies including: Young Jean Lee's Theater Company, 600 Highwaymen and Hoi Polloi. Ufomadu is a member of the Joe's Pub Working Group class of 2017.

Reverend Billy and the Stop Shopping Choir is a New York City based radical performance community, with 50 performing members and a congregation in the thousands. The Skivvies are Lauren Molina and Nick Cearley, award-winning NYC actor/musicians doing stripped down versions of eclectic covers and comedic, genre-hopping mashups. Tori Scott, "the Bette Midler of the new millennium" (Provincetown Magazine), returns to Joe's Pub with her annual holiday show Vodka is the Reason for the Season. This "soul-baring singer and sharp comedian" (Huffington Post) recounts her early childhood fascination with The Best Little Whorehouse in Texas and her time as a singing elf in an old folks home. Scott takes you on a festive autobiographical journey to celebrate what is truly special about this time of year (spoiler: alcohol induced blackouts). This shameless holiday show includes stories new and old and songs by Dolly Parton, Madonna, Michael Jackson, and more. Scott is a New York-based singer, actress, and comedian. In addition to Joe's Pub, she has toured her solo shows to Los Angeles, Dallas, Provincetown, aboard cruise liners in Alaska and the Caribbean entertaining thousands of shirtless gay men, and recently sold out shows in the U.K.

Mireya Ramos is the founder of Mariachi Flor de Toloache, New York's first all-female mariachi band and winner of the 2017 Latin Grammy Award for Best Mariachi Album. Ramos was born in the US and raised in Puerto Rico by her Dominican mother and Mexican, mariachi-singing father. Ramos moved to New York City in 1999 where she began playing mariachi and making her mark as a formidable, genre-bending musician. She founded Mariachi Flor de Toloache in 2008. Nine years and a Grammy Award later, Ramos continues to build momentum and dazzle audiences with her performances.
