'70s Tidal Wave! Meet the Full Cast of DISASTER!, Opening Tonight on Broadway

Broadway's new musical comedy DISASTER! opens tonight, March 8, at the Nederlander Theatre (208 West 41st Street), directed by Jack Plotnick with a book by three-time Emmy Award nominee and Grammy Award nominee Seth Rudetsky and Jack Plotnick. Coming to Broadway, come hell or high water is the new musical comedy Disaster!. Earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and rampant wildlife can't stop an outrageous cast of characters from dancing, gambling and singing the night away aboard New York's first floating casino and discothèque. He most recently played Billy Flynn in Broadway's long-running hit, Chicago.

Rudetsky is the afternoon Broadway deejay and host of Seth Speaks on SiriusXM Radio. He played Sheldon on Broadway in The Ritz and starred opposite Sutton Foster in They're Playing Our Song for the Actors Fund. He produced/conducted the Dreamgirls concert with Audra McDonald (Nonesuch Records) and Hair with Jennifer Hudson (Grammy nomination). As a comedy writer, he has three Emmy nominations for"The Rosie O'Donnell Show." As an author, his newest novel is The Rise and Fall of a Theater Geek (Random House).

JENNIFER SIMARD

Simard is a four-time Drama Desk and two-time Drama League nominee who is pleased to reprise her nominated performance on Broadway. This is the last role her mother, Yvette, saw her perform and is dedicated to her memory.
