Independent recording artist Tiffany Houghton released her debut single, "High" last month on iTunes. This also marks her first official music video release on VEVO. Watch the video!
"High" is written and performed by Houghton along with Nashville songwriters Lance Kotara and Matt Dragstem. The track was produced by Ethan Mentzer of Atlantic Records' pop group The Click Five. The video was shot on location in Miami and was directed and produced by Oscar and Martin Ubilluz of MU2 Productions. (Jake Miller, e one)
Houghton began writing, singing and performing at an early age, and has held roles on Broadway, attended the prestigious Booker T Washington Arts High School in Dallas, TX and has opened for multiple national recording artists including Joe Nichols and Jake Miller.
She moved to Nashville to pursue her career at the age of 17, and has spent the past two years developing her craft and building a significant loyal fan base online, with over 150K followers across Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube.
"This song was born from a couple of snaps of my fingers and an honest hook. I have never had so much fun writing, recording and performing a song before," says Houghton. "I went into this video wanting to put a smile on people's faces. I hope my fans have as much fun watching it as I had shooting it!"
