LULLWATER

Lullwater is an Alternative Rock band from Athens Georgia, arguably one of the most musically influential cities in the world. After releasing their debut full length studio produced album Silhouette in 2011 (produced by David Barbie at Chase Park Transduction Studios Drive By Truckers, The Whigs and Dead Confederate) Lullwater would spend the next year aggressively touring the United States playing more than 200 shows and refining their signature sound and style. For their sophomore record the band wanted to immerse themselves in the culture and environment that played such an important role in modern music, recording the new record in Seattle WA seemed almost preordained. In the winter of 2011 Lullwater reached back to influences from the late 80’s and 90’s grunge music scene to create their own take on modern rock. Working with famed producer Jonathan Plum at London Bridge Studios in Seattle where classics such as Pearl Jam 10 and Soundgarden’s Louder than Love were recorded Lullwater successfully captured the inspiration they were searching for. Finished recording the band returned home to Athens to set their sights on more touring and the upcoming release. In January of 2012 Lullwater released the EP The Singles - Seattle Sessions a collection of songs recorded for the forth coming full length self titled release “Lullwater” as a free download.
