THE PAPER GIRLS SHOW Wins Best Original Web Series at the 2018 Kidscreen Awards

Global Tinker and FableVision Studios are thrilled to announce that "The Paper Girls Show" has been named the Best Web/App Series - Original at the 2018 Kidscreen Awards. "The Paper Girls Show" joins industry giants such as Sesame Workshop, Amazon Studios, DreamWorks, and 20th Century FOX Television in the 2018 winner's circle. The awards celebrate the market's premier media and platforms for young audiences.

Global Tinker and FableVision worked with a team of world-class writers, educators, artists, and animators to bring "The Paper Girls Show" property to life. According to Sep Riahi of Global Tinker, "Society has been long overdue for shows dedicated to empowering girls at the critical ages between 6 to 8 to imagine, make and learn from their own creations - not just consume media and purchase. It is our humble intention for "The Paper Girls Show" to be on the forefront of this global movement."

Drawing inspiration from S.T.E.A.M. education and the Maker Movement, the short-form animated series follows the adventures of Caily and Reese, two best friends and makers. Together they discover a secret portal to Confetti, a fantastic world crafted entirely from paper. Confetti allows the girls' CURIOSITY and creativity to run wild, with mind-blowing (and sometimes hilarious) results.

The first three episodes of "The Paper Girls Show" are available for free on their website, http://www.papergirls.com, and Youtube channel. Global Tinker and FableVision Studios are currently developing more episodes and plan to translate the content for a rollout to the global market in 2018. In 2017, The Paper Girls Show was a winner at MIPTV Global Digital Shorts Competition at Cannes and won the Palm Springs International Animation Festival's Best TV Animated Short.

Global Tinker is a New York and Los Angeles-based transmedia studio that is rethinking how kids learn by combining scripted content with instructional videos and physical maker kits-all in one educational, innovative, and entertaining solution.
