5Angels to Join Backstreet Boys at Liverpool Echo 6/27

5Angels, the fast rising teen girl pop group will be performing alongside one of the world's biggest boy bands Backstreet Boys this summer at Liverpool's poptastic event Pop Across the Mersey at the Echo Arena on June 27th. The line-up includes former Westlife member Kian Egan and boy band Blue, with tickets on sale from Friday March 28th at 9am at www.aeglive.co.uk

5Angels, who hail from the Czech Republic, said they're "really excited!" to be performing at Pop Across The Mersey and returning to the Liverpool Echo Arena. Angee of 5Angels says 'We are such huge fans of Backstreet Boys, Blue and Kian Egan, we can't wait to share the same stage with them. We performed at the Echo Arena earlier this year on Union J's tour and can't wait to return, the crowd in Liverpool were amazing and we loved the city'.

Music lovers who have embraced catchy pop tunes from the likes of Girls Aloud, Selena Gomez and Sclub7, will love 5Angels. They are aged between 13 and 16; and are Nikki, Tereza, Vendy, Angee and Veronika. They are hugely talented and between them are trained dancers and gymnasts. They perform their songs with easy-to-learn, infectious dance moves and appeal to a fun-loving audience, ideal for young fans and tweens, looking for a new take on bubblegum pop.

5Angels landed in the UK in 2013 with their catchy debut UK single 'World Domination', which they performed all over the UK, including a TV appearance on CBBC's 'Blue Peter' and a winter nationwide tour with boy band Union J.

This year the girls were spotted by American Idol host Ryan Seacrest following a YouTube video of them covering a song by One Direction, which was then shortlisted for his online 'Best One Direction cover' contest. 5Angels achieved a position in the final round.

Their new single Kiss and Tell will be available to download and purchase from May 26th. Their music video can be seen on youtube at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E-Vx3TLi6YU. The catchy, fun song all about girl power has been rated 8/10 stars by Pop Justice 'packs a proper blow-your-head-off chorus.'

5Angels have sold over half a million records in their home country where they have performed numerous concerts and have released a range of store products. They are signed and managed in the UK by record producer Denis Ingoldsby of Amber Entertainment, who has previously worked with Girls Aloud, Blazin Squad and Eternal.
