Welcome to THE FRIDAY SIX: Q&As With Your Favorite Broadway Stars. Want to know what hooked them to a career in the theater? Their dream roles? Their Broadway crushes? Read on!

In this week's edition, we caught up with Eddie Korbich, who is starring as 'Santa' in A CHRISTMAS STORY- currently playing at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.

What is the first Broadway show you ever saw?

First show- No, No, Nanette in 1972. We came on a NY trip from Pennsylvania and all I wanted to do was see the Statue of Liberty and the Empire State Building and my parents dragged me to this show. When it was over I was tap dancing out of the theatre and up 7th Avenue all the way back to the hotel!

Bobbie Van, Helen Gallagher and Martha Raye! What a memory!

What is your most unique pre-show ritual?

I'm like Caroline O'Connor. I bless myself 3 times, but that's because I'm Eastern Rite (Ukrainian) Catholic and that's how we do it.

Most unique though- I sing my highest note that I have to perform that show and have a bite of bell pepper and cucumber (understand now this is for THIS show. Don't get me started on The Little Mermaid!)

What is your most memorable "the show must go on" moment?

Everynight this section in Major Award that we call Spin the Lamp/ Catch the Bi%#$, the lamp heel has caught in my vest or I can't get the thing around or I almost drop it! Thank God I'm behind Tia who is perfect very time!

What is the one role you want to play before you die?

'Adams' in 1776. My partner jokes that I'm moving up on Franklin! I've actually done my dream role on Broadway with 'Tobias' in Sweeney Todd at Circle in the Square so anything else is gravy!

Who is your Broadway crush?

Kirsten Wyatt, Charissa Bertels and Benj Pasek for the adults in this show. Too many to mention on Broadway in general!

But my biggest Broadway churches are to all of the kids in our show. Mostly because I truly love them so much!

Where can people stalk you online?

I'm on Facebook. What is this Twitter thing?
