Dorothy Releases New Album 28 DAYS IN THE VALLEY Today

Today, 28 Days in the Valley, the new album by Los Angeles-based rockers Dorothy, is available worldwide.Their sophomore album is led by their single "Flawless," newly accompanied by the official video which premiered yesterday with LA Weekly.

"Flawless" has a vulnerable message that begins with heartbreak and ends as a vindicated feel good anthem of self-love. "This one came fast to me," shares frontwoman Dorothy Martin. "It was very subconscious. Linda Perry pulled the lightness out of me, both personally and musically. This record is definitely still bold, but it's happier. It's kind of like the butterfly coming out of the cocoon."

The single is currently being added into radio rotation across the country & climbing the charts including early spins from the world-famous Los Angeles favorite KROQ, KLOS, SiriusXM, and many more.

"This was a spiritual journey and very healing, and because of that, it's an unapologetically honest record," says Martin. "Somehow Linda Perry knew I had more to give as a singer and writer. I used to hide behind the tough girl sound, but she taught me that there is power in my vulnerability and that's what you get on this record."
Dorothy, who have been added to the recently announced line-up for Arroyo Seco Weekend in Pasadena, made a lasting impact on SXSW this week with multiple performances and presentations. Their first event was headlining the Be Conference, mentoring the next generation of women, on Monday. The seminar featured a select group of powerful women that included Katie Couric and Rachel Bloom.

Then on Thursday, following an incredible SXSW Official presentation with management company We Are Hear, Dorothy celebrated their album release at Quantum Collective's Southwest Invasion at the flagship Whole Foods Market.
