Victor Cruz Name Best Dressed NFL Player by Bows-N-Ties
Bows-N-Ties, online retailers for men's ties and accessories, announced their annual best-dressed NFL player list. The list includes football stars like Victor Cruz, Tom Brady, Reggie Bush as well others who have style on the field and off.
"It's football season again, and seeing how this is one of our favorite times of the year, we wanted to take a moment to look at some of the best-dressed players in the NFL, highlighting the things that set them apart from their competitors," says men's fashion critic, writer, and the site's founder Hendrik Pohl. "Given the fact that these men are constantly in the public eye, the fact that stardom does apparently inspire eccentricity, and the fact that these stars do have extra disposable income to spend on fashion, it should come as no surprise that they tend to dress well. Some take things to an entirely different level than others, however, and we wanted to make it quite clear that we've been paying attention."
Each article highlights a specific NFL player, not only dissecting his style but also giving the average Joe some pointers on what he can incorporate into his own wardrobe. Cam Newton's untraditional approach to neckwear is highlighted, as is the ever-changing hairstyle of Tom Brady. Larry Fitzgerald, Victor Cruz and Reggie Bush also make the list, each of whom has cemented themselves as being some of the most fashionable athletes in the world.<
"These are men who are pushing boundaries," says Pohl. "Most NFL players do their best to dress well, but people like Larry Fitzgerald and Victor Cruz take it to an entirely different level; fashion is a huge part of their lives. As experts in the fashion industry, we applaud these individuals for giving the sport a new look; that of modern men who aren't afraid to admit the fact that they care about how they dress."
Apart from selling men's ties and accessories, Bows-N-Ties has published a variety of article series' that focus on such things as athletic fashion and industry trends. The company views these pieces as being monumentally important to the education of its readers.
"We seek to educate; there's really no other way to put it," says Pohl. "Fans of the NFL may not think about the way players dress, but after a little bit of examination, it becomes quite clear that these are some of the best-dressed men in the world. If we can help more people realize this, we'll be one step closer to succeeding in our goal to bring mens fashion back into the limelight."
