Live theatre and performances are coming back in full swing in the Boise area this summer!! With the return of the arts, comes a brand new Dance festival, "Dance Boise." Bringing together groups and companies such as "Idaho Dance Theatre" , "Ballet Idaho" , "Project Flux", "Global Lounge", "Andrew Nemr" and "LED." Each one showcasing something new in the world of dance in this one-night-only event.

June 12th at 7:30 pm you can catch this FREE event at the Centennial Amphitheatre at Boise State University. Curated by Brett Perry the event is a great start to get performances back on track.

If after this you can't get enough of dance, from June 14th through the 26th, you can participate in Summer Dancefest! "Since 1990 Summer DanceFest has become one of the most distinguished and unique dance workshops in the Pacific Northwest. Summer DanceFest offers the highest quality training for today's dancers during two weeks of intensive training." (Boise State's official website) From classes in Pointe to Modern there is something for anyone of any skill set. This event includes daily training and rehearsals with cutting-edge choreographers and two performances for dancers aged 12 and older.

COVID19 safety protocols including performers wearing masks at all times during the program. There will be no live show available but there will be a recorded performance ready to go.

This is a developing story, more to be added!
