Comix at Foxwoods will play host to the hysterical New Hampshire native and "Tonight Show" head monologue writer Jon Rineman for a three-night, four-performance event beginning tonight, July 2, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. and ending with his "Nasty Show" on Saturday, July 4, 2015 at 10:30 p.m.

Originally hailing from Northampton, NH, Rineman is one of today's hottest comedic writers and stand-up performers. A 2005 Emerson College graduate, Rineman began his stand-up career right in the heart of Boston at Harvard Square's Comedy Studio in 2004. There the NH native performed countless nights of underpaid, or unpaid, stand-up gigs, perfecting his innate ability to make people laugh.

While based in Boston, Rineman started submitting freelance monologue jokes for "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno." He didn't have much success in the beginning, but after countless submissions of jokes about current events to the top-rated show in late-night television, Leno finally bit.

After crafting jokes for Leno and "The Tonight Show" for well over a year, Rineman's comedic success landed him in the "Improper Bostonian's" annual humor edition. Shortly after his write-up in the prestigious magazine, and with just a few short years of writing and stand-up experience under his belt, Rineman was brought on as a writer for NBC's "Late Night with Jimmy Fallon," which replaced Conan O'Brien's Late Night show.

When the popular television host moved on to take the reins at "The Tonight Show" in 2009, Rineman followed as a member of Fallon's creative team and was assigned the responsibility of head monologue writer by A.D. Miles, the show's head writer.

Recently, Rineman's stand-up routines have been featured on "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon." He also regularly headlines some of the most prestigious comedy clubs and venues across the country.

Tickets are currently available for presale through Comix and Ticketmaster. Regular sale tickets can be purchased in advance for $15-$40. This show is for mature audiences only.
