Stand-Up Comedy Night returns to Luna Stage, 555 Valley Road, West Orange, NJ tonight, June 7th, 2012 at 8pm. Hosted by comedian Michael Che, the evening will feature fellow talented comics Anthony DeVito, Sean Donnelly and Michelle Wolf. Tickets (for mature audiences) are $10 each, and can be purchased in person at the box office, on the phone at 973-395-5551, or on the Luna Stage website: www.lunastage.org.

Luna Stage’s Stand-Up Comedy Night is part of an ongoing series featuring full evenings of stand-up comedy from the tri-state area’s up-and-coming comics. Performers have been seen on the likes of MTV, NBC, and Comedy Central, and Luna Stage’s intimate theatre gives audiences the opportunity to see these rising stars up-close and personal.

Host Michael Che, named a “Comic To Watch” by Comedy Central, is a native New Yorker who has already gained the respect and admiration of many of the comedians and audiences in New York City. His comedy blends street culture with world issues to hilarious results.

Anthony DeVito is a comedian, actor, writer, and Brooklyn native who performs stand-up, character, and sketch comedy all over New York City. He has also appeared on NBC’s Late Night with Conan O’Brien, Best Week Ever with Paul F. Tompkins, VH1’s All Access series and Comedy Central.

Born and raised in Long Island, Sean Donnelly can be found performing nightly at clubs like Comix, Gotham Comedy Club, Pianos, Mo Pitkins, the Comic Strip and various other gigs up and down the East Coast. He has also performed in the New York Underground Comedy Festival and produces a monthly stand-up/skit comedy show at Karma called, “Don’t Touch Me There”.

Hailing from Hershey, PA, Michelle Wolf is an improviser and comedian who has performed at Caroline’s on Broadway, the Women in Comedy Festival, Austin Out of Bounds Festival, and all over NYC. She started improvising in 2008, having trained in improv and comedy writing at the PIT, the UCB, and Magnet theaters in New York.
