Sneak Peek - truTV's THE CARBONARO EFFECT, Premiering Tonight

truTV is thrilled to air its fantastic summer lineup of original programming, starting with this Thursday's episode of Impractical Jokers (5/15 at 9:30pm EST) and series premiere of The Carbonaro Effect (5/15 at 10pm EST).

For some background, The Carbonaro Effect features magician and prankster, Michael Carbonaro as he goes undercover to perform baffling tricks on people in everyday situations, all caught on hidden camera. Whether he poses as an ordinary bartender or a seemingly unremarkable salesman, Michael astonishes his subjects by turning a tuft of hair into a puppy or pouring 12 pints of beer from an ordinary bottle. In the end, everyone is left stunned and delighted, even though they have no idea what just hit them. Check out some hysterical .gif reactions of the stunts here.

Impractical Jokers, in its highly-regarded third season, centers on four real-life best friends - Q, Sal, Joe and Murr - who dare one another to do ridiculous things in public. They Capture their extreme dares, complete with the unsuspecting public's amused, confused, or flabbergasted reactions. After each dare, the guys are given a thumbs-up or a thumbs-down to determine who succeeded under pressure and who collapsed in defeat. At the end of each episode, the guy with the most fails must face a mortifying punishment with truly humiliating consequences.
