Less Than Rent Theatre announced today their upcoming world premiere production of F*CK M*RRY K*LL (FMK), a Jacobean revenge comedy set in suburban Connecticut, written by James Presson and directed by Sash Bischoff.

It was previously developed at the Lincoln Center Lab and held a developmental reading at Playwrights Horizons in May 2017.

FMK will begin performances on October 27, with an official opening on October 30, for a limited run through November 12 at the New Ohio Theatre (154 Christopher Street). Tickets for FMK go on sale on September 21 and are available at www.lessthanrent.org/fmk.

In FMK, the teens of Greenport, CT face a chaotic spring semester as they grapple with loyalty, lust, narcissism, and nihilism before hitting the most important night of their lives: prom. FMK mashes up the high drama of Jacobean theater with classic high school tropes into a fast-paced and highly stylized epic- Secrets are spilled, backs are stabbed, and the survivors are left to count the dead and wonder how and why they got out alive.

FMK stars Lilly Englert (Pericles) as an angst-ridden prom queen, Alex Breaux (Red Speedo) as a wanderer with more baggage than can fit in his backpack, and Robbie Collier Sublett (Other Desert Cities) as a lovable pothead whose dreams of escape go horribly awry.

The cast also includes Ismenia Mendes (The Liar, Shakespeare in the Park's Troilus and Cressida), Brian Miskell (The Antipodes), Josh Salt (Les Liasons Dangereuses), Rachel Franco (Nibbler), Lance Lemon ("Loving"), and Riley Suter (Wilderness), as well as LTR company members Rachel B. Joyce, Cory Asinofsky, and Jacob Presson.

FMK is choreographed by Jennifer Jancuska (Hamilton, resident choreographer). It will feature scenic design by Jessie Bonaventure (The Bad Years), costume design by David Crowley (Searching for Romeo), lighting design by Jamie Roderick (Midnight at the Never Get), and sound design by Kate Marvin (Somebody's Daughter). Jenna Grossano will produce with Nora McNally who also serves as the production manager.

The performance schedule for FMK is as follows: Friday, October 27 through Monday, October 30 at 7:30pm; Wednesday, November 1 through Monday, November 6 at 7:30pm; Wednesday, November 8 through Saturday, November 11 at 7:30pm; Sunday, November 12 at 2:00pm. Tickets go on sale on September 21 at www.lessthanrent.org/fmk. Pre-sale tickets will be available for donors and Less Than Rent subscribers on September 14.

Less Than Rent Theatre (LTR) creates dynamic and dangerous theatre where the energy is explosive and the volume is turned all the way up. Whether we're presenting a new work from a fresh voice, a remix of a classic, or a devised piece by the ensemble, LTR's goal is to perpetually skew the theatrical canon with a signature combination of passion, curiosity, and swagger. Founded in 2010, LTR has produced eleven full-length plays, as well as numerous readings and workshops. Their work has been seen at HERE Arts Center, La Mama, 59E59, Walkerspace, Theatre Row, Axis Theatre, Horse Trade Theater Group, Wild Project, and The Brick, among others. In addition to multiple FringeNYC and United Solo awards and NYIT nominations, they were named Indie Theater Now's "People of the Year" in 2013.
