Nicky Jam, Enrique Iglesias Top Winners at Telemundo's BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDS

The stars were out tonight as Telemundo presented the 2017 BILLBOARD LATIN MUSIC AWARDSto a worldwide audience featuring an unforgettable show, from the glamorous fashion display of TV and music celebrities on the red carpet, to mesmerizing performances, surprise collaborations, world premieres and passionate acceptance speeches. Nicky Jam topped the winners list with six awards including: Hot Latin Songs Artist of the Year, Male and Latin Rhythm Songs Artist of the Year, Solo. His chart-topping song "Hasta el Amanecer" earned Hot Latin Song of the Year, Digital Song of the Year, Streaming Song of the Year and Latin Rhythm Song of the Year.

The late Juan Gabriel earned five awards including the coveted Artist of the Year, as well as Top Latin Albums Artist of the Year, Male and Latin Pop Albums Artist of the Year, Solo; his album "Los Dúo 2" received Top Latin Album of the Year and Latin Pop Album of the Year. Enrique Iglesias received four awards including Latin Pop Songs Artist of the Year, Solo. His collaboration with Wisin "Duele el Corazón" earned three awards including Hot Latin Song of the Year, Vocal Event; Airplay Song of the Year and Latin Pop Song of the Year. Other winners of three awards included Banda Sinaloense MS De Sergio Lizarraga, CNCO, Gente de Zona and Los Plebes del Rancho de Ariel Camacho.

Hosted by Kate Del Castillo and Carlos Ponce, the coveted awards show also featured a star-studded list of presenters, including: Alberto Guerra, Ana Maria Polo, Angelica Celaya, Chiquis, Chocquibtown, Danna Paola, Demian Bichir, Don Francisco, Ednita Nazario, Eugenio Derbez, Eva Longoria, Fanny Lu, Juan Luis Guerra, La Arrolladora Banda El Limon de Rene Camacho, Maria Celeste Arraras, Maria Leon, Michel Brown, Olga Tañon, Regulo Caro, Rosie Rivera, Sin Bandera, and Sofia Reyes. The spectacular music special displayed 14 captivating performances, by internationally renowned artists, including:

  1. Daddy Yankee opened the show to the tune of "Hula Hoop," joined by The Blue Man Group. Later, he joined Ozuna to perform "Rompe Corazones."
  2. Reik sang "Ya Me Entere"
  3. J Balvin and Bad Bunny performed a medley including "Sigo Extrañandote" and "Si Tu Novio Te Deja Sola"
  4. Pedro Capo, Luis Figueroa & Christian Pagan (#LosBambis) from Telemundo's new scripted drama music series "Guerra de Idolos" performed "Tequila Pa'La Razon"
  5. Ricardo Arjona (Billboard Lifetime Achievement Award recipient) performed "Mojado" and a medley featuring "Te conozco," "Señora de las cuatro Décadas," "Desnuda," and "Fuiste Tu."
  6. Wisin and Ozuna performed "Escapate Conmigo"
  7. Banda MS performed a medley featuring "Es Tuyo Mi Amor" and "Tengo Que Colgar"
  8. CNCO and Yandel sang "Hey DJ"
  9. Nicky Jam performed "El Amante" and was joined by Vin Diesel for "El Ganador"
  10. Jennifer LOPEZ (Telemundo Star Award Recipient) premiered "Mirate" from her upcoming new Spanish-language album
  11. Luis Fonsi (Billboard Spirit of Hope Award Recipient) and Daddy Yankee performed the global hit "Despacito" for the first time on television
  12. Alejandro Fernandez and Morat collaborated on "Se Que Te Duele"
  13. Gente de Zona performed "Si No Vuelves"
  14. Zion y Lennox & J Balvin joined forces on "Mi Tesoro Otra Vez
