Next month at STAGE 72 (158 West 72nd Street) on November 8, 9 and 10, the New York Comedy Festival will present three exciting and hilarious shows which will feature comedy, TV star and author Richard Belzer (Law & Order: SVU), Chelsea Lately regular Dan Levy, celebrated comedy writer of stage and screen Alan Zweibel, and comedy writers Bill Scheft from The Late Show with David Letterman, JR Havlan from The Daily Show with Jon Stewart and Chris Henchy from Funny or Die. Tickets are $20-$25 and can be purchased online at www.NYComedyFestival.com.

On Friday, November 8 at 7pm Richard Belzer - the quintessential New York comic's comic and everyone's favorite conspiracy theorist - steps into the spotlight at Stage 72 for the New York Comedy Festival to play host to BELZER'S BEST BETS, presenting three of the city's very best young comedians. The Belz has seen 'em all and for this very special show he's picked his very best bets from among the New York comedy scene to proudly present stand-up stand-outs Giulio Gallarotti, Robyn Schall and Gary Vider in a hilarious night of can't-miss, must-see stand-up.

On Saturday, November 9 at 7pm comedian, Chelsea Lately regular and new fatherDan Levy will host Baby Talk, a hilarious new live show built around Levy's quest to avoid scarring his new son's fragile psyche. For each show (which originated at the NerdMelt Theater in Los Angeles), the funniest names in comedy come together with the cutest faces in childhood to teach Dan what it takes to be a cool dad, even if he wasn't that cool in the first place. Each comedian will perform stand-up, only to all come together at the end, to sit at a round table and interview a child, somewhere between the ages 5-9 years old. Baby Talk has something for everyone, especially people who have kids, people thinking of having kids, and people who have been kids (so yea, everyone).

And on Sunday, November 10 at 3pm Alan Zweibel, who's writing credits include television, movies, the Broadway stage and award winning books, moderates 'New York Comedy Writers', a diverse panel of prominent comedy writers. Participants include writers Bill Scheft from The Late Show with David Letterman, JR Havlanfrom The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Chris Henchy from Funny Or Die and Lisa Birnbach, author of "The Official Preppy Handbook." Discussion will range from how everyone got into the business, writers rooms and the differences of discipline & process in their respective fields.

The New York Comedy Festival will present Belzer's Best Bets on Friday, November 8 at 7pm; Baby Talk with Dan Levy on Saturday, November 9 at 7pm; and New York Comedy Writers Moderated by Alan Zweibel on Sunday, November 10 at 3pm. Tickets are $20-$25 and can be purchased online atwww.NYComedyFestival.com. There is also a two-drink minimum.
