Michael C. Hall Would Consider a DEXTER Reboot

Michael C. Hall talked to Variety, where he discussed the possibility of a Dexter reboot.

"It's a possibility given how the show ended that we could revisit Dexter," he said. "I have just yet to, for my part, imagine or hear someone else's idea that makes it feel worth doing. But never say never."

Hall is currently playing a Brit in his new Netflix series, Safe. Safe will air on Netflix internationally and on Canal+'s C8 channel in France. Hall plays Tom, a pediatric surgeon who is raising his two teenage daughters alone after the death of his wife.

Hall is an American actor, known for his roles as Dexter Morgan, a serial killer and blood spatter analyst, in the Showtime TV Network series Dexter, and as David Fisher in the HBO drama series Six Feet Under. In 2010, Hall won a Golden Globe Award and a Screen Actors Guild Award for his role in Dexter.

Dexter is an American television crime drama mystery series that aired on Showtime from October 1, 2006, to September 22, 2013. Set in Miami, the series centers on Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall), a forensic technician specializing in blood spatter pattern analysis for the fictional Miami Metro Police Department, who leads a secret parallel life as a vigilante serial killer, hunting down murderers who have slipped through the cracks of the justice system. The show's first season was derived from the novel Darkly Dreaming Dexter (2004), the first of the Dexter series novels by Jeff Lindsay. It was adapted for television by screenwriter James Manos, Jr., who wrote the first episode. Subsequent seasons evolved independently of Lindsay's works.
