McAninch Arts Center (MAC) located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage is pleased to announce the addition award-winning comedian Kathleen Madigan to their 2017-2018 Season. Madigan enjoyed a sold-out MAC debut engagement last December and will bring an all new show when she returns to the MAC Friday, April 27, 2018 at 7:30 p.m.

Madigan's good friend Lewis Black calls her "the funniest comic in America, bar none" and DC Metro Arts says "Sensibly straightforward, sassy and sharp, seeing Kathleen Madigan is like meeting up with a flippantly funny friend who sees the humor in everyday events and can make mundane happenings sound hilarious." Please note: this show includes adult language and themes.

Madigan's honors include a nomination for an American Comedy Award for Best Concert Comic and winner of the American Comedy Award for "Best Female Comedian" and the Phyllis Diller award for "Best Female Comedian." Her third hour-long special, "Madigan Again," was named one of iTunes Best Comedy Albums. She has written and produced for Lewis Black's "Root of all Evil" on Comedy Central and for Gary Shandling's Emmy monologues, and done two USO tours to Iraq and Afghanistan with pals Lewis Black, Robin Williams, John Bowman. She remains the only comedian in the history of NBC's "Last Comic Standing" to go unchallenged by any other comedian, and was a top three finalist in Season 2 and a judge on Season 5.

Tickets for Madigan's Friday, April 27, 7:30 p.m. show range from $39-$48, and go on sale for the first time, along with all tickets of the MAC's exciting 2017-2018 Season, at the MAC's Tickets On-Sale Party and Free Community Open House Saturday, Aug. 5, 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Attendees to the Aug. 5 Tickets On-Sale Party pay no handling fees and enjoy personalized customer care from the MAC's ticket services staff, free food, including sandwich wraps, chips, popcorn, sweets, soda and coffee.
