Kathleen Madigan has won both the American Comedy Award and the Phyllis Diller Award for "Best Female Comedian." Described as the "funniest woman doing stand-up right now", Madigan brings her talents to the State Theatre stage tonight, October 17th.

Show time is 7:30 PM. Tickets are $25 & $20 and can be purchased by visiting the State Theatre Box Office, 453 Northampton Street, Easton, by calling 1-800-999-STATE, 610-252-3132 or online at www.statetheatre.org. Sponsored by 99.9 The Hawk. This show is intended for Mature Audiences only.

Over a 25-year career, Kathleen Madigan has performed on just about every standup television show ever made. From Leno to Letterman, Conan to Ferguson, Madigan continues to prove that she is one of the funniest stand-up comedians of her generation. Although she's turned down many writing jobs because she enjoys performing more, she has written and produced for Lewis Black's "Root of all Evil" on Comedy Central and for Gary Shandling's Emmy monologues.

Madigan has released four CDs and three DVDs and has starred in two HBO specials, three Comedy Central specials and three CMT Salute to the Troops specials with Ron White. Her third hour-long special, Madigan Again, was named one of iTunes Best Comedy Albums of 2013 and her most-recent hour-long special, Gone Madigan, premiered on Showtime and is available on Netflix.

Kathleen Madigan has done two USO tours to Iraq and Afghanistan with pals Lewis Black, Robin Williams, John Bowman and musicals acts Kid Rock, The Zac Brown Band, Kix Brooks and Kellie Pickler. She remains the only comedian in the history of NBC's Last Comic Standing to go unchallenged by any other comedian -meaning no comedian would say they were funnier than her. Madigan was a top three finalist in Season 2 and a judge on Season 5.

This show is intended for Mature Audiences only.
