Jokesters Las Vegas Presents Triple Headliner Comedy Show

Named "Best Comedy Club" by Casino Player Magazine, Jokesters Comedy Club features a triple headliner standup comedy show featuring Don Barnhart, Kathleen Dunbar and Derek Richards along with special guest sets from some of the best local Las Vegas comedians.

Barnhart's standup comedy is both funny and intelligent and he brings social awareness to light with thought provoking insights that are as hysterical as they are poignant. The Las Vegas Review Journal recently called Don Barnhart's show one of their "Best Bets" and he's been compared to the wit of a young George Carlin with the animated delivery of Robin Williams.

Kathleen Dunbar was the winner of The Las Vegas Comedy Festival and voted Vegas Favorite Comedian. In 2005 the Entertainment Consumers Exchange awarded the "Excellence in Entertainment Sunrise Award". They awarded her again in 2006 and 2007 with the "Favorite Comedian" award. She has made her mark in Las Vegas and around in casinos and Comedy Clubs across country.

The fiery comedian has an extensive list of accomplishments including being crowned the Comedy Winner in the "2003 Las Vegas Star Search" competition, as well as recognition by the Entertainment Consumer's Exchange for the "Excellence in Entertainment Sunrise Award" in 2005. The Las Vegas Sun has addressed Dunbar "one of the brightest comics in Las Vegas" and What's On magazine proclaimed her "a sitcom waiting to happen."

Derek Richards' act is fast, fresh, and at times, fanatical. He brings the funny with tales about his blue-collar upbringing, his mom's dog, the holidays and dating an exotic dancer. He's the host of the widely popular podcast Vegas Green Room and a regular headliner on the Vegas strip.

A veteran of several USO tours, Richards was chosen as one of the first performers at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba after the base began guarding jailed Al-Qaeda terrorists. The comedy tour earned Richards national coverage in Newsweek. He also has performed at U.S. base camps in Iraq, Afghanistan, Kuwait and Africa. You can hear him on the air via the XM Satellite Radio Network and on the nationally syndicated, Bob and Tom Show along with Bob and Sheri. He was also featured on The Weather Channel's Top 10.

Barnhart is the founder of Battle Comics and since 1992 has been performing and producing comedy shows for the troops around the world. All three headliners recently performed overseas for Battle Comics and Don and some of his team are featured in I Am Battle Comic, the new documentary from filmmaker Jordan Brady about the importance of entertaining the troops.

The film includes behind the scenes footage along with interviews from many of the comedians that have recently volunteered their time to go overseas including George Wallace, Dave Attell and George Lopez. The comedians share their insights and thoughts on the impact of entertaining the troops and the importance of keeping our soldiers' moral high.

With its newfound popularity, Jokesters Comedy Club is becoming the hotspot for celebrity comedians to drop in to do a set and you never know who might drop in. Comedy legend George Wallace recently took the stage to work out new material before heading back out on tour.
