Let's get ready to rumble - and laugh out loud! The Improv Cage Match returns to Playhouse on Park. Two improv teams go head-to-head in a comical showdown, where the audience decides the winner! This is the first of six matches, as part of a collaboration between Playhouse on Park, Hole in the Wall Theater, and Hot Cocco Productions. The winner of this match goes on to the next round, which will take place at the Carriage House Theatre.

The two competing teams for the evening will be Julia and Jeffrey from Hartford, and Laughterhouse-Five from New Britain. Having performed together with the Sea Tea Improv troupe, Julia and Jeffrey are both graduates of the improv training program at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in New York. Founded in October 2010 as an "investment firm", Laughterhouse-Five has headlined at Hole in the Wall Theater and New Britain Repertory Theater.

The Improv Cage Match takes place November 29th at 8:00 pm. Tickets are priced at $10, general admission. This is a BYOB event. For more information, call 860-523-5900 x10 or visit www.playhouseonpark.org.
