Comedian Louie Anderson will take the stage at SOPAC on June 17th at 8 p.m.Performing across the country to standing-room-only crowds, Louie Anderson is one of America's most recognized and adored comics. His talent has made him an icon in live stand-up comedy, television and film performances. His most recent excursion into television garnered him the 2016 Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy Series. He co-stars alongside Zach Galifianakis and Martha Kelly in the hit FX comedy series Baskets as Christine Basket, the matriarch of the Basket family.

In 1984 he was invited by Johnny Carson to make his national television debut on The Tonight Show. He quickly became a household name, making regular appearances on late night television as well as hosting Family Feud for three seasons. Louie Anderson made the transition from comic to television personality easily, and he quickly scooped up guest spots on sitcoms like Grace Under Fire, Touched by an Angel, Chicago Hope and in films Coming to Americaand Ferris Bueller's Day Off. He had his own animated Saturday morning show, Life with Louie on Fox television.
