Richmond CenterStage is excited to announce the second installment of its live comedy series as WEST END COMEDY DOWNTOWN begins its fall run of special Friday shows tonight, October 5 at 8:00 pm in CenterStage's Rhythm Hall.

Following their successful inaugural year, WEST END COMEDY is back for another side-splitting season of laughter. WEST END COMEDY is a troupe of talented and experienced comedians specializing in improvisational comedy! In the style of Whose Line is it Anyway?, these talented performers will stretch the realm of improv comedy for adult audiences throughout the season.

"We are thrilled to continue supporting live comedy in Richmond by welcoming West End Comedy back for another season," said Richmond CenterStage Executive Director Richard M. Parison, Jr. "Audiences loved their performances last year and we know they'll love what we have in store this year as well."

Performances of WEST END COMEDY DOWNTOWN will take place on the following Fridays at 8:00 p.m.: October 5, 2012 November 9, 2012 February 8, 2013; March 8, 2013 April 5, 2013 May 3, 2013

Performances are for mature audiences.
