Acclaimed Comedian Jim Jefferies Returns to Santa Rosa This Summer

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (The Center) announced that provocative comedian Jim Jefferies will return to Santa RosaSaturday, July 15, 2017 at 7 p.m. as part of his recently announced Unusual Punishment Tour. Tickets for Jim Jefferies ($39.50 - $49.50) are available beginningFriday, April 14 at noon at lutherburbankcenter.org, by calling 707-546-3600 or in person at the ticket office at 50 Mark West Springs Road in Santa Rosa.

Jim Jefferies burst on to the scene in the United States after his popular debut HBO special "I Swear to God." Since then, Jefferies has gone on to produce the successful comedy specials "Contraband," "Alcoholocaust," and "Fully Functional." He has firmly established himself as one of the most popular and respected comedians of his generation, with a controversial and belief-challenging standup style that continues to surprise and entertain audiences across the globe.

Jefferies has headlined at festivals around the world including Edinburgh Festival and Just for Laughs, as well as starred in the critically acclaimed TV Series "Legit" on FX. He has also garnered widespread media attention for his standup special, "BARE," which featured a bit on gun control in the United States that went viral. The announcement of his latest tour comes hot on the heels of his fifth major standup comedy special, "Freedumb," which premiered on Netflix.
