This week, Kristin Chenoweth made her return to the New York stage in MY LOVE LETTER TO BROADWAY, a concert directed by Richard Jay-Alexander, with music direction by Mary-Mitchell Campbell, costume Design by Christian Siriano and presented byJames L. Nederlander.

Chenoweth performs a handpicked selection of musical theater favorites, including songs from her upcoming album, The Art of Elegance, her first album of American Songbook classics. An intimate evening of romance, glamour and laughter, this must-see performance will remind you why you first fell head-over-heels for Broadway... and its most enchanting performer!

Critics are dropping in to the production this week to catch a glimpse of the diminutive star in the solo endeavor and BroadwayWorld will have all the reviews for you as they roll in.

Let's see what the critics had to say:

Charles Isherwood, The New York Times: Whether singing or delivering her often self-deprecating patter, Ms. Chenoweth always radiates a pleasure in performing that carries across the proverbial footlights. Even on a ballad - like "A Quiet Thing," the ineffably lovely John Kander and Fred Ebb song - she's like a singing ray of sunshine.

Melissa Rose Bernardo, Entertainment Weekly: If you know Kristin Chenoweth as the original bubbly (and bubble-wrapped) Glinda in Broadway's Wicked or the boozy hellraiser April Rhodes on Glee, her one-woman concert, My Love Letter to Broadway, at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre delivers all that we've come to love: a sparkling soprano, massive stage presence, and killer comic timing.

David Rooney. The Hollywood Reporter: Not since Elle Woods strutted onto the stage in the Legally Blonde musical has one woman sported so much girly-girl pink on Broadway. For her terrifically entertaining concert series, titledMy Love Letter to Broadway, Kristin Chenoweth has been swathed by costumer Christian Siriano in various shades of fuchsia, starting out in a sexy sequined hot-pants romper, then graduating into a sleek tailored pantsuit and, finally, into the mother of all cotton-candy princess gowns. But Chenoweth could just as convincingly have worn military fatigues, such is the disciplined command with which this sparkplug performer holds the stage through two hours-plus of eclectic song selections and personal reminiscences.

Joe Dziemianowiz, The Daily News: Big voice. Big dress. Big Gulp. Stage diva Kristin Chenoweth has all that going on in her sparkly and entertaining solo concert, "My Love Letter to Broadway."The show blends styles and genres, like showtunes, standards, pop and gospel. That's fitting since Chenoweth, a Tony and Emmy winner who likes to remind that she's from Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, is herself a unique and original mashup, a living lovable contradiction in terms. She's got a big bright legit opera voice. She's a hilarious and self-deprecating comedian. She's a staunch LGBTQ activist. She's a devout Christian. All of that gets pumped into her show at the Lunt Fontanne Theatre through Nov. 13.
