Following the growth of its new Android app and popular multi-language messaging network, lettrs announces the launch of a new app-sourced book today entitled, "Poetguese." It is the premiere "book of lettrs" and the first digitally sourced book of letters in this generation.

In celebration of "Poetguese," lettrs will host an exclusive book release and signing event at Saraiva, Rio De Janeiro with press and 85 student poets involved in the book on Sunday October 12th.

"Poetguese" features the poetry of young writers, who are part of the Brazil Poets Society formed on the lettrs network. These enthusiastic young adults wrote poetry on their computers and mobile devices using lettrs' digital messaging platform earlier this year. The rhythmic and moving works of the promising young poets appear now in the lettrs' book "Poetguese," the tech pioneer's first-ever-digital-to-physical compilation from its emerging social network of letter writers.

"The release of 'Poetguese' epitomizes the lettrs mission to fuse our mobile messaging technology with letter writing as an enlightening, invigorating and influential medium for both the younger and older generation worldwide," said Drew Bartkiewicz, founder and CEO of lettrs, and a writer himself. "lettrs is becoming a mobile messaging platform of great interest given that our published or private lettrs are translatable into 80 languages in real time."

Co-author of "Poetguese" and accomplished Brazilian writer, Natalia Parreira, states, "Through lettrs, young people in Brazil have discovered a new way to express themselves using poetry and new technology. It is our hope that lettrs and this first book can be just as impactful among young people in other countries around the world."

The leading, global messaging platform lettrs has writers and emerging penpals from 174 countries with 10 million lettrs impressions on the app, including noteworthy letter writers such as acclaimed novelist Paulo Coelho, who wrote the Foreword for "Poetguese."

Coelho penned the international bestseller, "The Alchemist," which has sold over 150 million copies internationally since debuting in 1988, making Coelho the greatest bestselling Portuguese language author.

lettrs is a premier messaging platform for mobile-to-mobile letter writing in 80 languages. Powered by the market's first-ever "social signature" which enables writers to hand-sign their message, the Android, iPad and iPhone version of lettrs creates a writing desk for the digital age.

"Poetguese" is soon available on Amazon with the letter of Coelho sourced also from lettrs.

Writes Coelho, "I believe the world is in the hands of those who have the courage to dream and run the risk of experiencing each of the challenges that surrounds their personal legend. So my message to you is to follow the path of the heart, of persistence and resilience. That's the real magic."
