Groundbreak Exhibit Officially Open to the Public

Saturday, November 19, 2011, Groundbreak, the inaugural exhibition's opening was a success, great conversations about the alley's history, the old neighborhood, new art, new connections and community spirit.

Long-time Lower East Side resident, Steven Stoppert commented about the artwork during the first day of Jon Burgerman's installation, "We need more art. The neighborhood needs this."

Anthony Rotella, General Manager of Veselka described our collaborative effort best, "What a great opportunity for us to rally together as a community of businesses and honor and rejoice in the arts."
