When waitress Anna Schmidt delivers a food order past ten o’clock at the old Rotisserie Restaurant on Main Street, State inspectors step in to make an arrest. In the midst of World War I, Buffalo restaurateur Joe Radice takes his case all the way to the US Supreme Court. Based on a true story that unfolds at the beginning of a century long, and as yet unsettled, debate over the treatment of women.
