Five high school students find themselves in detention one crisp Saturday morning.

Each represents a different schoolyard stereotype – the jock, the thug, the nerd, the fruit loop and the princess.

But as they scribble away at essays given to them by the unforgiving Mr Vernon, this quintet will discover there's more to them than just a label.

This adaptation of John Hughes's cult 1985 coming-of-age film is a must for anyone who's ever felt misunderstood.
