Meet our titular character - his name rhymes with ‘Japan,’ his pants don’t fit, and his schemes to humiliate his less-than-progressive boss are at the center of Bill Irwin & Mark O’Donnell’s music-hall adaptation of Moliere’s classic commedia, “Scapin.” This play has everything: women playing men, men playing men, women playing men playing women, hats, a piano, a man playing that piano, sobbing, dancing, tumbling, a classic chase scene, romance, rivalry, charades, and not one, but TWO deus-ex-machinas.
