Interesting, because TDF didn't specify mezz at the time I bought them a few weeks ago, but I remember with Blithe Spirit, TDF warned "balcony seating" and then put people in the mezz, so I'd rather go with actual experience re: Where are the TDF seats for Next to Normal? I get the idea that they're really not sure until right before the performance...

I bought them a few weeks ago (for next Saturday's matinee) and yes, it DID say likely in the mezz.

That said, the Booth is small and any seat in there is going to have a great view.

Hey Jordan--
You're probably right that it mentioned the mezz, but I just checked and since it says seats "may" be in the mezz and the Blithe Spirit disclaimer was way off a couple of weeks ago on the balcony issue, I was still wondering. Actually, I'm not afraid of the Booth mezz, I think what with the tri-level set, that would actually be better off than being extreme side orchestra...

My tdf seats were second row of the mezz, last two seats on left side.
...What happened next, was stranger still, a woman breathless and afraid, appeared out of the night, completely dressed in white. She had a secret she would tell, of one who had mistreated her. Her face and frightened gaze, my mind cannot erase...But then she ran from view. She looked so much like you...

I had a TDF ticket last night and was in Orch. F 5. Good seat. Only missed a couple of minor things on the far left side.

I started this thread, and am happy to report I got 2 TDF seats front row mezz for N2N last night, which was a great view for the tri-level set! Could have easily moved to empty seats in the first few rows of the orchestra if we'd have wanted to...my strategy is to use TDF for Sunday night performances if I can because it seems to be a pretty dead night for theater in NY and seating is often wide open. Did TDF for Damn Yankees at City Center a little while back on a Sunday night, which also worked great...I totally recommend it.

I had Orch Row O when I went. It wasn't TOO bad but the top tier of the set was totally obstructed.

I'm going again on Thursday with TDF tickets and I hope they're better seats.

Saturday Matinee I had Mezz E109.

Another case of make sure you have your TDF confirmation with you. Someone decided to file at least one S with the Qs, and me having my confirmation slip was probably the only reason the guy (who was very nice, by the way) bothered to look through the other letters to try and find it.

Sit on it & rotate.

Your picture does not do you justice but than what again can

For your information, we rarely pay full price. I assume you pay full price for every show you see.

What, yours? I think the kids refer to that as a "lemon party".

Your picture does not do you justice but than what again can
I've read that sentence over and over again seven times and still have no idea what it means or what your point was. But then again, that's what we can expect from the incoherent, babbling fool we all know and love.

Check this out: I got Mezz A2 and A4 today. Perfect seats. Would have paid $98.00 a piece for them if I'd walked in off the street.

Beautiful show. Great on so many levels. Please, theater gods, make this one last a long time!

Got 4 TDF seats for 2 weeks from now on Saturday night (4/25), taking the parents. I'm already seen the show so it doesn't matter for me, but for their sake, I hope they're good seats. They rarely come in to see shows, and occasionally have eyeline/hearing problems, so crossing my fingers.
