It does sound like something could have probably been done had they caught it in time. (My question-in ignorance because I am not a skiier-do they ever have medical professionals on staff at these lodges to do any preliminary examination?)
Also-FYI-on the NY Daily News (I know, not a great source) website, they said a public memorial will be held at a later date for Natasha.
It's so sad we lost such an amazing talent...and person. She was so kind and generous with her time when I saw her in Cabaret years ago. And she was amazing in the show. I never forgot that performance. (Or the others I saw her give.)
RIP Natasha and my thoughts to the Neeson/Redgrave/Richardson families.

Posted: 3/19/09 at 10:18pmI hope something tabloid worthy happens w Brittany or Lindsay or whoever on the day of her funeral. Maybe then the ghouls who pass themselves off as journalists will allow the family to bury her w dignity and grace as she deserves.
